Login Help

 Q: What can I do if I forgot my Password?

A: Enter your user name and click the “Get New Password” button. The system will create a new password and will send an E-mail notification to the E-mail address associated with your account.

Q: What can I do if I forgot my Password and I did not previously provide an E-mail address?

A: If you request a new password, but do not have an e-mail address associated with your account, a message will display stating that you do not have an E-mail address and will instruct you to register for a new account --- although it may be tempting, please do not re-register an Applicant Profile, instead please call 1-855-778–6037 for assistance from one of our friendly and helpful Ascension Candidate Care associates.

 Q: When attempting to retrieve my forgotten Password a message displayed on the screen stating I do not have an E-mail address, what should I do?

Q: What can I do if I forgot my User Name?

A: Enter your E-mail address and click the “Find User Name” button.

  • If your E-mail address is recognized, the system will send you an E-mail notification containing the user name that is associated with the E-mail address on file.
  • If the E-mail address is not recognized, a message will appear stating that there is no record of your E-mail address.

Q: What can I do if I want to change my Password?

A: Changing your password is easy. Simply log into your account by using the “Change Password” page and follow the onscreen instructions.


Registering/Logging In

Q: What are the benefits to my registering or logging in to the system?

A: Below are a few benefits registered users who log into the system have ability to perform:

Q: Can I still view Job Postings even if I do not register or log in to the system?

A: Yes you can, in fact, you can perform all of the actions listed below without registering or logging in:

  • View a list of the latest job postings.
  • Search for job postings.
  • Access the detailed posting information
  • E-mail detailed posting information to yourself
  • E-mail detailed posting information to a friend

 Q:  What are the specific times for the different shifts listed in the job postings?
A:  Shifts are specific to each position and some positions my require weekend rotations.

Q: What types of employment does Saint Thomas Health have to offer?
A: There are four employment types:     

  Hours Benefits Shift Differential
Full-Time 32-40 Hours weekly Eligible  
Part-Time Less than 32 Hours weekly Eligible except for Long Term and Short Term Disability plans  
PRN-Supplemental 24 Hours per four-week schedule Not Eligible Eligible for night and weekend
PRN-Premium Plan 72 hours per schedule to include 4 weekend shifts and three holidays per year (at least one summer and one winter). Not Eligible  

Q: How often are job postings updated?
A. Job postings are updated daily. Once a position is filled, it will be removed from the website.

Q: Is my data confidential on your Web site?
A. We make every effort to protect your data; please contact the Ascension Health Ministry Service Center if you have specific questions related to its use.

Q: Will my information be shared with any third parties?
A. Please contact the Human Resources department or the Ascension Health Ministry Service Center if you have specific questions relative to our use of third party vendors.

Update or change my information 

Q: Once I submit my application, how do I go in and update my information/resume?
A: Once you submit your application, no changes can be made to that particular application. If you have new information that you feel is relevant to the recruitment process and you have already submitted an application, simply return to the posted position and re-apply for the position. Re-applying for a position will afford you the opportunity to provide a new application, and most importantly, the opportunity to make the necessary updates you feel are important for review.  If you need to change your contact information, you may log-in to your account and update this information.

Q: I have the need to update my contact information, but I have already submitted my application, what are my options.

You can update your Applicant Profile any time you feel the need to do so. Simply return to our website and log in using the same login and password you previously used to create your applicant profile. Once you have logged into your Applicant Profile, you will be able to make the necessary updates to your contact information. Once your contact information is updated all previously submitted applications will be updated to include your latest, submitted contact information.

Searching for Jobs

Q:  I'm having trouble finding a specific position; do you have any tips for me?
A. Yes. Clicking on the the ‘Advanced Search” link will take you to a page that can be used in various ways. You can search for jobs by key word searches, shift preferences, location preferences, etc… Not sure what you are looking for, no problem… simply leave the Advanced Search page field blanks and review a list of all positions that are posted the entire Saint Thomas Health organization.

Q: I am interested in a position in food services, housekeeping or environmental services but I do not see the jobs posted, what can I do?
A: Saint Thomas Health is fortunate to partner with our valued TouchPoint food services, housekeeping and environmental associates. To apply or for assistance with these types of positions simply contact TouchPoint HR at TouchPoint HR contact number is 615-222-5040.

Q:  How do I apply for a job with Saint Thomas Health?
A: Applicants can apply for a job by completing their application on-line. Do not have access to a computer? No problem. Saint Thomas Health welcomes all potential applicants to visit our Human Resources Department at each campus to use one of our comfortable and at-the-ready computer kiosks.

Q: I’ve submitted my application, now what?
A: Applications that are successfully submitted are routed to one of our skilled and highly-trained recruitment professionals. The recruitment professional (recruiter) who receives your submitted application has the knowledge and training to handle the unique requirements assigned to the position for which you have applied. Depending on the outcome of the recruiter’s initial review, your application may be forwarded to the assigned Hiring Manager.
